Shinjuku is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, which means it’s one of the busiest and most populous cities in Tokyo, Japan. Shinjuku station, in fact, is the busiest railway station in Japan, serving over a dozen railway lines. Shinjuku isthe place to be for a tourist as well as for businessmen who are trying their luck out in Japan.
As you step off Shinjuku station, you may already find yourself in the midst of several busy locals and foreigners trying to get their way into the different department stores and electronic shop surrounding the station itself.
Several tourist attractions are also found in Shinjuku, such as the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Tower, Shinjuku Gyoen, Hanazono Shrine, and Tokyo Opera City Tower. For those into entertainment-oriented businesses, Kabukicho and Kagurazaka is the perfect place to invest. Kabukicho is Japan’s largest and most extravagant red light district, housing over hundreds of restaurants, bars, karaoke shops, and, of course, red light establishments of all types. Kagurazaka, on the other hand, is a popular destination for locals and tourists as it is one of the few remaining geisha districts in Tokyo. People from all over the globe come to Kagurazaka to watch the geishas, an experience that is unique to Japan. Kagurazaka also offers a number of authentic French and Italian restaurants for variety.
